I have been advised that there is a new Rat Town in Manchester. The rats behave like the gangs in Haiti and have been attacking business places in the parish. I understand that these gangs of rats are no longer afraid of human beings. The puss dem in the town have been unable to call in additional support to deal with these rats which have scared all the puss dem in Manchester.
I have been told that the business sector in the town has a great relationship with these rats. These rats were actually attracted by business persons who provided the right environment for them.
Years ago, these rats would not be so brave, because they were considered a delicacy for dropping into your rat soup. It was felt then that rat soup was a good remedy for whooping cough!

I'm not sure where to start, Rat Town is not only in Manchester it is in every parish, town and community in this country. The condition is appalling! As individuals we generate personal garbage every single day, IF we do not have the infrastructure to remove the garbage generated Rat Town is the result.
ReplyDeleteI was on King Street yesterday, my God!! The garbage, the derelict buildings, the stench, the homeless persons lining the street, it was depressing. This is the condition of my country's capital city, the MAIN street?? It cannot be!!
That the rest of the city and country is fast becoming a huge garbage dump is no surprise, where are the Councillors, where are the MPs, where is our Civic Pride?
A rat town for true we all need to take personal responsibility of our surroundings👹
ReplyDeleteI was walking on Decarteret road in Mandeville sometimes a go and i saw some rat they bigger than man and i get some rat poison and throw in the bin but it didn't do much
ReplyDeleteRat poison is the simole answer. It works quicker than trying to change people nasty behaviour.
ReplyDeleteAnywhere rats congregate for food you sprinkle liberally with rat pellets.
Phase 2 8s for the parish councik to start applying fines to persons responsible for dumping garbage
Rats are disease carriers!! Is that what we're waiting for with a health system that's not a system!! We've got to do much better as individuals, as families, as communities as a government and as a Nation!! WE HAVE TO DO BETTER TO EXPECT BETTER!!
ReplyDeleteI know rats will be attracted to where food is but goodness! I wonder what that specific business sells? WE have to do better.
ReplyDeleteSad and disgusting situation. Honestly, I think it is simply our surroundings mirroring our minds and hearts.
ReplyDeleteA clean mind and clean heart CANNOT be pleased to live or work in that manner.
No well-thinking person can live, work or play in garbage.
Time for renewed minds.
Nasty people create Nasty places, and sometimes the people that is living where the Nastiness occures, They are not the ones who litter the place. You will be surprised to see the Vehicles dumping and throwing garbage on the street sides.we need Cameras to pick up these Culprits with their Nasty attitude.
ReplyDeleteAnd right around the island there's a Kodak moment as this, I believe garbage pile ups has now reached a crisis, it's sickening, when you're in the old Harbour bus park in Spanish town at nights , you see a lot of them on the roof area of the tastee building running up and down
ReplyDeleteOMG this is truly unbelievable cannot find words to respond to this one how can people live in such filth soon the entire place will be infested then comes disease breakouts
