Some constituencies are becoming difficult to manage as citizens continue to make demands on their members of parliament. One such constituency is Western Westmoreland with MP Morland Wilson. MP Wilson was an unknown political figure similar to David in the biblical story of David and Goliath. He took down the Goliath Wykham McNeil during the last General Elections in Jamaica in September 2020.
Frustrated residents are demanding better water supply and better roads. They have been clamouring for this for years. There is a severe shortage of water in the constituency.
MP Morland is one of the coolest MPs in Gordon House but the pressures are building up. The demands are many and the General Elections are just around the corner. On Thursday, April 18, 2024, he will be my guest on SpotOn with Vernon Derby on KLAS. This show is aired from 1000 to 1100 EST, Monday to Friday. This is the link to listen online.
Today I got a video of residents expressing their appreciation for the work of MP Morland. Are these voters' expressions an indication to possible opponents that Morland Wilson is developing into a formidable political animal? Time will tell.
