Reports are that Mandeville is looking like the Mandeville of many years ago. Mandeville was once regarded as the cleanest and most beautiful town in Jamaica. When Cecil Charlton was the Mayor, there was a story about him that he saw a man dropping garbage in Mandeville and he drove to Porus and accosted the man for dropping garbage on the street.
I understand that the vendors have been removed from the streets. Commendations to the Parish Council and the police in Mandeville. Let us see how long this will last.

I heard about Mandeville and passed through when Cecil C was mayor.
Years later i was amazed at the level of chaotic nastiness in evidence.
Good job it seems Cecil Charlton duppy paid them a visit and no one wants a duppy bax them down so the municipality is doing the right thing.
Downtown Kingston municipality go get some lessons from Mandeville please your nastiness and chaos is untenable.
It's a shame to see such a good n peaceful community n parish changes like the weather in a snap of finger,the police along with relivant authority allow the snake straight through the gate, u don't need glasses to see, external venders transport with the criminals those from Kingston must be sent back vo bend down town, and st, Catherine back to Spanish town Manchester n trelawny nearest parishes their woman can't go trade these people infested the area n don't u think they willing to share space ,it need regulations right a Ross the border, country man will not steel unless being influence by others.police have to pay attention too even the traffic cops.n residents, this must stop.
