There is a rumour going around that Mike Henry is dead. At the time of posting MP Mike Henry is alive.
Many of our leaders are stepping up in age and when someone hears that a leader is not feeling well, for example, it passes through several persons. The news will eventually morph into, "The person is dead".
The public has an interest in its public figures. We should therefore understand there is no such thing as living a public and private life.
The way to beat the rumours is to open the doors of communication. There are too many secret iron doors.

The gentleman is no longer active in the public eye...so SOME people are curious to know where are their whereabouts.I believe that everyone is entitled to their privacy at some time or the other and we must respect that whether you like it or not.
While common decency may no longer be common and social media is chasing popularity by being the first to break the news, does anyone stop to think the impact it could have family members to learn of the loss of a loved one on social media unless it is from a family member?

Read the article again. Mr Henry is an MP and a public figure. People don't deliberatw say the man is dead because they are being cruel. His supporters probably love him more than some of his fa.ilies do.
