Murderhall or Slackhall???
Artistes have been disrespecting themselves and society for some time now. Artistes are now very nasty-mouthed and decadent, singing murderous music for style and fashion.
Most Jamaican people are decent mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, uncles, and aunties.
Dancehall has become Duncehall, leading the youth astray. Highlighting or pushing slackness, nastiness, and corruption.
Heeeeelp Jamaica needs Heeeelp to change to move Jamaica forward to a productive and decent people locally and in the diaspora.
This could make Jamaica a more globally respected nation.
Is it dancehall?
Duncehall,
Slackhall,
Music hall or
Murderhall?

It's duncehall. People with a decent mind don't indulge in those thoughts and words.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a tragedy, that’s what it is! Jamaicans, we love our music, be it Reggae, Ska, Rocksteady or Dancehall. However, dancehall does not have to be focused on slackness, murder etc., is there nothing else to ‘sing’ about??
ReplyDeleteI was at the Summit on Friday night, a nice after work hang out for family and friends. Children are always there enjoying themselves. Well, the dancehall music that was being played was absolutely disgusting!! Sexually charged, the f-word used in almost every line! It was embarrassing and displayed a total lack of respect for the patrons!
The DJ was so proud of himself and his selection, I am truly concerned about about our future, our society, our children, our youths. Does anyone have their interest at heart?? Those ‘songs’ are NOT worthy for air play!
