Bangkok has declared all 50 districts disaster areas after extreme rainfall flooded roads and disrupted transportation across the Thai capital. Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports remain open. Tourists face difficult airport transfers, while hotels and hospitality businesses manage staff, delivery, and access problems as further rain threatens Bangkok.
Hotels, restaurants, and tour operators remain open in many parts of Bangkok, but staff shortages, delayed deliveries, and unpredictable airport transfers are creating operational problems. Tourists are being advised to check conditions before travelling, allow substantially more time for airport journeys and use rail transportation where practical.
