MPs Had Questions About Minister Grange's Reparation Trip To The United Kingdom

Bark Di Trute has presented an edited version of Minister Grange's report on the reparation delegation visit to the United Kingdom. There were questions and answers following the presentation. This relates to the harsh realities our forefathers had to go through as enslaved people.

MP Warmington, as expected, brought up a matter that is hardly ever mentioned. He questioned the role of Africans who sold their Black brothers into slavery. No one mentioned the role of the Maroons who supported slavery.

In discussing slavery, we must give a full background. The good news is that King Charles has responded to the petition.

Based on the discussion in parliament, it seems that the move to make Jamaica has to be put on hold until the reparation matter is dealt with.
