Bark Di Trute Is Doing Very Well But It Lacks Financial Support

Bark Di Trute is not just barking; it's biting. Although the Constitution guarantees freedom of expression, this is not a place to Bark Di Trute sometimes. If you criticise anyone's idea, person, or organisation, you could end up paying dearly for your action. They will be quicker to crucify you than deal with the murderers. Actually, I believe criminals get more support from lawyers, human rights groups, and civil society than they give to people like me who tell ourselves that we are trying to do good for our country.

One of the main challenges we face when you Bark Di Trute is that people will whisper in your ear that they support you, but that is as far as the support will go. Your own relatives don't like to hear the truth. I don't have a problem with you telling me the truth. Just do not embarrass me.

Because I have Barked The Truth, I have lost a few relatives. I have blocked them from communicating with me. I don't need relatives just because they are relatives. I want loving and caring people in my circle. Let me stop here to thank those caring people who continue to check up on me and continue to stand by me. Thanks to those who continuously send me information and those who contribute to the blog. Thanks generally to those who support the work that I do.

Bark Di Trute continues to do well, but it is a disaster financially. Very few people are willing to support the blog financially. The views have jumped significantly. We are getting 4,000 to 6,000 views each day. Last month, Bark Di Trute had 146,323 views. We have had 2,776,954 views since Bark Di Trute was started. Views is the number of times people access the articles.

We have published approximately 4,627 articles, and we received 13,275 comments. We would like to get far more comments. When you comment on a national matter, it makes a big difference when I pass on the blog to our leaders, and they see the number of responses. Bark Di Trute has more overseas readers than local readers.

I believe that we say Bark Di Trute is now the leading blog in Jamaica.

The challenge is that it takes cash to care, and without financial support from the public, it is just a matter of time before Bark Di Trute will bark no more.

Some of the benefits of Bark Di Trute.

  1. It plays a major role in lobbying government, the private sector, and others.
  2. Provides assistance to consumers who have been abused.
  3. Shares information for various institutions with the public.
  4. Gets the news out first.
  5. Shares emergency information from agencies like the JCF, Meteorological Service, and the Fire Brigade Service with media houses.
  6. Keeps members of the diaspora informed.
  7. Identifies false information circulating on the internet.
  8. Assists consumers with their consumer issues.
  9. Assists people in locating others.
  10. Solicits help for people, such as promoting the need for blood.
  11. Promotes entertainment events and allows our readers to win tickets.
Bark Di Trute does far more than we have listed. We have just highlighted some of the main things that we do. We really love and support those who support us. All the best.

Please share this blog with your friends.

  1. I'm a constant blog reader and supporter. Only wish I could help financially. Doesn't the agencies and other organizations you publish their information donate ? DM Cooper.

  2. The aim of the blog is to provide a voice for those who don’t have a voice and most of these people cannot afford to assist. Not one private sector organization nor government entities have not offered to assist.
