#AndrewHolness #Jamaica. Could this be historic? I would like my friends to check it out. Today June 1, 2021, The Most Hon. Juliet Holness sat in the Speaker's chair in the House of Parliament while her husband The Most Hon. Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of Jamaica was on his feet addressing the House.
Could this be the first time in Jamaica that we have a Prime Minister addressing the House while his wife is the speaker. Yes she had the last word. She was in charge!!! Has this every happened in another country?
I need to know.

ReplyDeleteI am sure they both had a great laugh about it around the family table that night with their boys. I can just hear Madame Speaker telling Mr. PM, "Ah was jus waitin' pon yuh fe seh someting outa order dat me coulda tell yuh fe shut up an siddown!"
