Today He Shall Rise Again!!!

Many Jamaicans have waited with bated breath for today, October 28, 2021. Today is the third day since His Excellency, Rev. Dr. Kevin Smith, the head of the Pathways International Restoration Church Ministries in Montego Bay was killed in an accident while being taken to Kingston. This is Jamaica and what do you expect? We take serious things and make joke about it. Persons are saying that Kevin Smith who had claimed that he is God will raise on the third day which is today. Many will be looking for the sign. His followers probably expect him to ascend to heaven while his haters expect him to descend to hell.

Some skeptical Jamaicans feel it was a plot for Smith to get away and now that he is dead, he has gone down with many dark secrets. I said in a post that if the communication about this matter was not handled properly, then we should expect a lot of speculations. Social media has been inundated with speculations and of course the traditional media will find all of this very sensational. Sensational news will skyrocket sales!

Citizens Made Many Complaints And No Action

The following email was sent by a citizen complaining about a challenge at the Middle Quarters Primary School in St. Elizabeth. This is an example of someone once again appealing to the authorities in writing to deal with a matter, yet no attention is given. The person has now written to the Ministry of Education, the Prime Minister of Jamaica and myself.
The Email:
The gate is left wide open and a  "GANG" OF BOYS come every day including SUNDAY MORNINGS AND SUNDAY EVENINGS.
This gang is there even during lockdowns and curfews and the Police is unable to deal with them as they are being warned when the Police are coming.
Many of these gang members have family and friends in the Police force.
They continue to:
  • Trespass on my premises
  • Steal coconuts, ackees etc and destroy seedlings, trees from Forestry Department
  • Tear down fences
  • Break into unrented premises on property
  • Defaecate on my property
  • Throw stones on my house, and unrented premises
  • Shout, Scream sometimes using sound system

Editors Note: I have edited parts of the email where the complainant made some accusations which I cannot substantiate.

Signs Of Trouble In Spalding, Clarendon!!!

The following was sent by an reader:

There is a house in Spalding, where at least 4 young boys who are known to be involved in scamming live. The youngest is 18 years old because his father not putting up with it. They each have a Mark X.  People are wondering why they are  living in plain view of the police and nothing is happening. Spalding has had scammers for sometime but they seem to have increased and barefaced. Please get someone look into it.
We would like for them to catch the real master mind because these youths who are beneficiaries.

Funds Being Transferred To Wrong  Bank Accounts

Persons are having challenges getting back funds transferred to the wrong bank accounts. I am calling on the banks to address this matter and to state how customers can protect themselves from this happening. The banks should say what measures will be put in place to deal with this major challenge. We know that the banks are encouraging persons to do their transactions online but they all need to make it easier and less error prone for their customers.
.
I suggest the following:
  1. Funds transferred should be transferred in pending mode until the sender confirms that it went to the correct account.
  2. Ensure that account numbers are entered with a check digit which would prevent the wrong number being entered.
  3. Not only should the bank's account number should match but also the TRN or the name in order for the transfer to be confirmed.
  4. Banks should use the media to educate its customers on how to minimize making errors when transferring funds to someones account.

That Cult Leader

More reporters and persons continue to dig deeper into the past of Kevin Smith, in order to learn more about him. The man who many refer to as his Excellency. Kevin s the former head of the Pathways International Restoration Ministries based in Montego Bay..

DPP Paula Llewelyn has said in a conversion with a reporter that Kevin Smith was convicted for a crime in Canada and he spent some time in jail.

Click and listen to the interview with DPP Paula Llewelyn.

We must understand that Kevin Smith was just the tip of the iceberg that we are facing in this country. If we take a look at our music for example, you will find that some of the well known artists are actually leaders of a cult.  Many of our people will give their lives for some of these artistes. We saw the videos of Kevin Smith preached which shocked us, but many artistes preach violence  and sing songs which talk about our women and our girls in very derogatory terms.

We have artistes who are known to be on hard drugs, artistes who are had convicted murders, artistes who are rapists and many of us display cult like adoration for them. Some of us  bleach our skins like them, Some of the artistes have been wearing their pants below their bottoms and persons in cult like behaviour follow these artistes blindly.

Many continue to blast Kevin and his followers but we also follow the two largest cults blindly - the JLP and the PNP. In 1980 we murdered approximately 800 persons due to political differences. School administrators had to change the uniform of their students to prevent them from being attacked.

Jamaica could soon earn the title of  land of wood water and cults! Do not believe for one moment that cults are only found in the religious community. There are more!

Kevin Lewis is now dead and he shall not rise on the third day. Let's look for the next cult leader and the next cult and deal with it!

Message To Former Commissioner Of Police, Owen Ellington

Owen Ellington

Persons are wondering why Jamaicans have become very suspicious of our leaders and why persons have been coming up with conspiracy theories about those who have served. I am losing or should I say, I have lost confidence in many of our leaders.

I would love to remind former Commission of Police Owen Ellington of this matter:

Mr. Owen Ellington, do you remember that Vernon Derby reported that there was a gang in Trelawny creating havoc in Lime Tree? The then councilor, Paul Padmore, said on air that a gang member was seen driving a police car in the district. It was also alleged that police officers at the Wait-A-Bit Police station were ineffective in dealing with the situation because they were too close to some of the trouble makers in the area. Mr. Ellington you remember the allegations about a female police in Christiana who was close to the gang?

Mr. Ellington I would still love to hear from you and for you to indicate what you did to resolve this matter. I heard your lawyer speaking on radio recently. Probably he could speak about this matter?

Be Ye Careful

There is a business man in the furniture business who needs to change the name of that business to The Furniture Conman Business. If you give him your money to fix your furniture you could end up losing your furniture and your money.

Some of these persons form organizations that only exist on paper which they use to magnify their voices and give the impression that they are speaking for a large group.

One has to be careful of what is written so as not to breach the libel laws. We often times blame the police for not taking action but the police can only take action when they see a crime and/or a crime has been reported to them.

There is far more, but not everything one can say. All of us, we must not see and blind and hear and deaf. You could be helping to develop another cult.

Holy Beginnings Then Bizarre Practices And A Destructive End

Kevin Smith
Shocking news coming in is that His Excellency Kevin Smith the head of the  Pathways International Restoration Ministries was involved in a deadly road accident this morning, while being taken from Montego Bay to Kingston. Media houses are confirming that Kevin Smith is dead and a police officer is also dead.

The next step is for the state to deal with the investigation of this accident/incident carefully. The security force must put out clear and forthright information about this matter. I have said, "Perception is real and reality is not real unless perceived". Many questions will be asked and if this matter is not dealt with in an open manner, this will lead to a further deterioration in the confidence that the people have in the system.

Investigation must be thorough so that the population does not believe this accident was a set up. All police officers including the drivers should be tested on site to ascertain if they have ingested any substance that could have impaired their judgement. Was Kevin Smith travelling in a secure police vehicle? We must check to see if the vehicles had any defects and/or it was tampered with.

I have been following the discussions on line and many persons were skeptical about Kevin Smith being convicted of a crime. Persons felt that he has secrets for a number of high profile persons and he would be better off dead than alive. Persons feel that he has genetical, political, financial and religious connections which allows him to wheel significant power in Jamaica.

Tongues are already wagging. Interesting days are ahead. What started out as a religious practice, escalated into a criminal matter and ended up tragically, is showing political and other links. Mark my word, what might seem like a simple matter could escalate into a major scandal. Probably there is no basis for it, but all of this is shaping up to be a creature output of the people's creative imaginations.

My concern is why is Mr. Smith was being taken in that type of vehicle? Is that vehicle secure enough to carry this man who I would regard as a high risk detainee? One thing I say is that this man is now dead and dead man tells no tale. Some persons might have a good sleep tonight. Jamaica, what a country, what a life!!!

The following are some pictures that I have received but I cannot verify whether these pictures are genuine pictures of the scene.

Minister Audley Shaw's Booming Voice Roaring Back To Form

Minister Audley Shaw
The Honourable Audley Shaw CD, MP, Minister of government and the MP for North East Manchester, is getting back his booming voice.  He had informed me that he had undergone a number of operations and this had a negative impact on the sound of his voice. Minister Shaw who is known as Man A Yard, is an MP who is loved by many Jamaicans. Jamaicans kept wondering if the Minister was very ill and if he would be able to continue as MP. He granted me an interview earlier this year and I was able to share what he said with you then. He sounded hopeful when I spoke to him earlier this year while many of you felt anxious about his health. Yes you wanted to hear that booming voice again.

This is how he sounded when he was sworn in as Minster:

This is his return to parliament with the booming voice although he is still hoping for more improvement:

Jamaica Evangelical Alliance (JEA) Speaks Out About Church Tragedy In Montego Bay

Rev. Dr. Peter Garth
President, Jamaica
Evangelical Association
The Jamaica Evangelical Alliance (JEA) is deeply saddened by and abhors the tragedy that took place at the Pathway International Kingdom Restoration Ministries of Montego Bay. We firmly believe that this incident represents a very serious and disturbing development in Jamaica. The fact that three persons were killed and three others hospitalized in the name of religion, is enough to send reason reeling.

The deception and seduction of power, both individual and institutional is a tale deeply rooted in history. It is extremely sad that under the guise of church, the misuse and abuse of authority has taken a very devastating toll in broken lives and congregations. It is unfortunate that there are incidences where some Pastors end up feeding off people, using them to meet their needs or make up for their vulnerabilities. This behaviour is condemned in the Bible, and Ezekiel 34 warns against shepherds and their lavished lifestyles rather than looking out for the well-being of their sheep.

If we are true to the Word of God we must admit that the religious ritual in Montego Bay is not Christianity. What went down is Evil! It is clearly demonic and the Christian Church has a responsibility to confront evil with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God!

JEA believes that there is an urgent need to examine the widening Christian culture in Jamaica, with its temptations toward fame and status, feeding into the problem of abusive church leaders? The way the Bible depicts the church, Christ is the head and we are part of his body. This means that there is a system involved, but the system is a system that is supposed to follow its head. The congregation has some responsibility for keeping the system healthy, mainly by worshiping Christ and him alone. The church also needs to pray for its leaders, that God will uphold them in godly leadership; not for the sake of gaining the material and reputational blessings that some have come to love so much, but for God himself to be honoured above all.

The JEA would like to commend the members of the security forces who responded promptly to this incident to avert further disaster, and we remain committed to doing all that we can to educate persons concerning deception and warning signs of cultic practices.  We also pray for the unfortunate members of the movement, who have been traumatized and for those who have lost their loved one.

Charismatic Or Crazy Leaders

His Excellence Is Just Another Who Mastered The Art Of Manipulation

Jamaicans have become shocked at what took place at this so called Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries church in Montego Bay. This type of organization with its charismatic leader is not new to Jamaica.

Jamaicans have got caught up with obeah men, science men, charismatic church leaders, charismatic political leaders and also gang leaders.  You might have heard the story of Bedward from August Town, the revivalist leader. I understand that he had a vast following. The story is that he had planned to take off like a bird one day to heaven. I understand that state officials locked him away in the Bellevue hospital because he was declared to be insane. Some persons have said that Bedward was not mad, it is because the state feared the power and attention that he was getting why he was locked up. (This is story passed down and is not necessarily an accurate story.)

Some persons have the ability to manipulate others. Our society is fast becoming dysfunctional and it seems that many of our people are easily manipulated by these manipulative leaders.

Politicians Have Been Masters Also

Turn your minds back to the 1980s. Many will not want to admit it, but our political leaders have manipulated the minds of our people to the extent that some of us hated our mothers and fathers, our brothers and sisters and we turned against one another in such a vicious way never before seen in this country. Many sang we will follow wi leaders until we die. Some vowed to die for their leader and they did. In 1980 approximately 800 persons died due to political violence.

The Gang Leader Have Been Masters Too

You will recall when Zeeks a convicted criminal was detained and this resulted in Kingston the capital being locked down for a day. The police had to hand over power to Zeek and Zeeks became almost the Commissioner of Police. Zeeks was given a bull horn to address the crowd and the crown heeded his command to clear the streets.  Tivoli area leader Dudus was referred to by many as if he was a God. Women took to the streets in Tivoli to defend their one and only Dudus during that period prior to his deportation to the USA. I see these personalities as cult leaders. People literally ate everything out of their hands like any animal.

Some Business  Leaders, Teachers And Others Behave Like Cultists

Some business organizations are operated like cults. While these leaders might not fit the traditional description of a cult eader, they do exhibit certain similar behaviour - do as I say or leave and you must subscribe to my philosophy or leave immediately.

At one high school in Kingston some years ago, a male teacher had the boys all over him. He was certainly a very charismatic person and he, like Kevin Smith, made sure that he was seen with well known personalities. I remember that he was to get married and one of the young boys who was closely attached to him became depressed and the youngster cried like a baby. The wedding never came off.

The challenge is that it is very difficult to have the police deal with these cults because no one is willing to come forward and report anything. I tried my best to stop that teacher from working with young people but with his influence and contacts he was able to get a job at another school. I must point out that it is my understanding that he was removed from the teaching staff of the school  that he was at when I met him. Can you imagine, he had these young boys in his flat as if they were his room mates!

Families Too

The way some families operate, I would classify them as cults. I have been told of how some Jamaicans have dictated how their family members think, eat and which religion they believe in. I have seen the results of such off-springs who are sometimes bitter against their past and they have great difficulties socializing with others.

The Churches

Many of these cult leaders start out as believable religious leader and then after awhile it seems as if the demon starts to take the better of them. I am aware of a deceased church leader who treated the church as an extension of his bedroom. There was no proof of what he was doing but the whole district was talking about his activities. He adopted a few young girls and they lived with him. He was divorced and he just liked to keep little girls around him. He had a helper who had a child I was told and the helper went away to the United Kingdom. The story is that she left her son with him and that son grew up to have an uncanny look of the Minister. There were many other stories about him. He eventually married one of his adopted daughters.

Dealing With These Cults Or Manipulative Leaders

The best way to deal with this challenge is to include matters in school life that will make young people become aware of these cults. Our education system is all about preparing persons to get a job and little is taught to young people to prepare them for the real and dangerous world.

While I grew up in rural Jamaica, stories that I was told by older people, prepared me for these cultists. I was told some terrible stories about black-heart man, tek way man and obeah man. At high school during my Religions Education classes we had discussions about groups such as hippies, religion and matters about just growing up.

Having Laws To regulate churches and other organization I don't believe will solve the problem. We need to have our sociologists, our psychiatrists and our psychologists and others looking at this phenomenon and see what we need to do for the society so that cultist will not find fertile grounds.

Let's Hear From The Sociologist, The Psychiatrists And The Historians

The idea of a cult and the dangers of a cult is not something to be discussed only by politicians. We need to hear from our sociologists and our psychiatrists for example. What is happening to out country? Is it becoming a fertile breeding ground for more cults? Is this thing a phenomenon that the police can deal with or we need more social workers on the ground? Do we have enough social workers? These are some things that we have to think about. Not just make this thing a nine day wonder.

Time To Change Persons Responsible For The National Awards

I continue to get complaints about persons who have received National Awards over the years. Some persons have gone as far as saying that they should change the person or persons responsible for the awards.

A few years ago I objected to Grace Jones being awarded the OJ. I objected because I believe that the award should not only be about personal achievements, but also about the outstanding character and integrity of the awardee. Person who get such awards should be persons who the people of this country can emulate.

Person have said to me also that Elaine Thompson-Herah should not get an award nor be given a diplomatic passport. I have received reports of Elaine's relationship with the MVP club at UTech and there are many question marks. There are concerns also about the breaking news of her leaving the MVP club. She denied the story and then she ends up leaving the club. The question being asking is, "Was she truthful when she was asked about leaving the club and she said it was rumours?

Men Detained In Connection With The Kidnapping Cases In St. Thomas

I have just received information that three persons have been detained by the police in St. Thomas. The police believe that these persons can assist them in their investigations. I also received a voice note which gave the impression that persons were helping the alleged kidnapper to charge his phone and also helping to provide food for him.

His mother has been appealing to persons not to kill her son.

Tension In Bull Bay Area - Residents Expect Problems

There is ongoing tensions between Junor Lane and Up The Pen in Shooters hills i
n the Bull Bay area. The police force should be on high alert at this time to deal with challenges in that area. I just received information from someone in the area about the state of affair.

There are intermittent gun shots being fired in the area at this time. Residents in the area are in fear for their lives.

Cult In Montego Bay

Based on reports coming out of Montego Bay subsequent to members of the security forces raiding a church which the police claimed to  have prevented a mass killing at the Pathways International Restoration Ministries. Indications are that two persons were already sacrificed and others were about to lose their lives. Three persons died on the scene. One church member made contact with the police  and the officers were able to thwarted their efforts.

Persons have commented on the colours of the drapes at the front of the church which some persons described as reflecting the colours used to reflect the lifestyle of the LGBT community.

It is reported that someone has set up a Go-Fund-Me site to cover the legal expenses of the Minister and other members of the church. A reliable source is aware that the church or the Minister is selling some expensive real estate. One is going for USD350,000 while the other is going for USD574,000. or approximately JMD52.7 million and JMD86 million.

JPS Expect More Challenges With OUR Ruling

Michel Gantois

JPS fears that customers will see more frequent and much longer power outages because of the suspension of the company’s Transformer Protection Programme by the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR).

Faced with recurring equipment failure and spiraling replacement costs, JPS had initiated a Transformer Protection pilot project to protect its equipment from huge unpredictable overload and premature failure. “There have been at least 110 premature transformer failures due to such loads between January 2020 and August 2021, at a replacement cost of more than J$25M. We are shocked that the OUR would frustrate our efforts to protect our equipment and manage outages faced by our customers due to unauthorized overload,” said Michel Gantois, JPS President & CEO. He was responding to the OUR’s ‘Cease and Desist Order’ which requires JPS to suspend its Transformer Protection Programme for a period of 90 days until further investigations are carried out by the OUR.

“This ruling will make it so much more difficult for us to provide reliable service to customers in some communities, because of the recurring damage to equipment caused by overload. We anticipate that the OUR, after its promised investigations, will return a more balanced decision which supports the company’s right to protect its investment,” the JPS CEO pointed out.

“It is unfair that this equipment failure replacement cost is borne by JPS and its paying customers. Good customers will face long outages while we dispatch our teams to replace equipment which will invariably be destroyed again,” the JPS CEO continued. “JPS has an obligation to protect the safety and reliability of supply from our equipment. The OUR’s directive will have very dramatic and unfortunate consequences for children who need to study, for people who have to work from home, and for businesses. We urge the OUR and the Government of Jamaica to focus on the real issues that cause these frequent equipment failures and power outages. JPS remains committed to continuing to play its part in support of these efforts,” the JPS CEO said

Covid-19 Vaccination Drive Needs Non-Political Leadership - World Renowned Medical Scientist Says

Jamaicans are very concerned that our leaders seem to be unable to motivate the majority of the people to take the Covid-19 vaccines. I just received another communication from someone in Africa and another one from a Jamaican medical scientist.

The Jamaican medical scientist expressed concern about the overwhelming negativity towards this pandemic and consequent poor vaccine uptake. He went further to say that as one public commentator  said, "...the antivaxxers are winning in their media campaign against vaccinations" has failed to move the compass towards a positive understanding and approach to the situation.  His point is, this is no surprise as the political leaders do not represent a neutral, evidence-based, data-driven decision process.  This medical scientist said further, that the people see the political leaders as grandstanders on a soapbox, pronouncing promises which they hardly can or ever fulfil. He goes on to ask why do we now expect that the 'un-discerning' public will accept the political leaders as bearers of scientific truth.

His conclusion is that the approach is doomed. He says that he is again calling for the politicians to step aside and allow the experts who are trained in medical sciences and public health delivery, to take over and drive the effort to a greater understanding and embracing of the proven methods to prevent, contain and diminish this scourge.

I would add as a blogger, that we need someone with strong management skills and one who has experience in logistics such as a senior JDF person to lead this process. That person should work with the medical profession and scientists. This persons would need to have strong supporting staff to deal with areas such as information technology, communication and public relations along with persons who understand the culture of the Jamaican people.

Finally, I must say that if we cannot get the people to follow the covid-19 protocols then forcing the people to take the vaccine is an effort doomed to fail. Organizations targeting the workforce are targeting persons who more than likely are already playing their part in following the protocols. If we do the research, we might find out that most persons in the formal sector have taken the vaccine.

Business leaders need to first ensure that their employees follow the protocols rather than trying to enforce a vaccination policy as if they are the de facto government. In the meantime I will say to my supporters, please take the vaccine. It is better to take the chance with the vaccine than to take a chance with Covid-19! You might not live to tell the tale if you take the chance with Covid-19!!!

The Connected Families - Michael Spence

The connected families and associates must have allegedly known the significant details of Paw Paw Linton's lifestyle. If the "Animal" wanted to  switch and become a productive conscious leader he could have been even a Rebel fighting for a cause instead of a being common criminal gangster.Did the Paw have other children and remember Leah allegedly have another young child for a Jahvelani. This may have a backstory we shouldn't buy the official story of the Paw's death waiting to see what Indecom or a investigative journalist unearths.

Real Jamaican culture the total way of life of a people comes mainly from the rural masses. Kingston ghettoes are contaminants of that wider culture.Check Nine Miles, St Ann with Robert Nesta Marley Trench Town later.Check out Peter McIntosh from West more land,Jimmy Cliff of St James,Lee Scratch Perry from Kendal Hanover,Rex Nettleford from St James and I can go on.Rural culture from and to this day is saving Jamaica.Kingston's decadent sometimes impoverished ghetto subculture contaminates the political,Art/music and socioeconomic life of Jamaica.Culture is the total way of life of a people so no one should believe that so called ghetto behaviour is Jamaican Culture it but a minute part it is a SUB CULTURE THAT IS REALLY LIKE A CULTURE VULTURE and in some cases like mongoose eating the fowl eggs before chickens are hatched .

Big Security Operations In Montego Bay - Church

I just heard from one of my On The Ground Reporters that the police and soldiers are carrying out an operation in the Paradise area in St. James. Word on the ground is that there are churches in the area which many see as encouraging cultism in the country. The police have been monitoring these churches our sources say.

I have been told that the church that was raided is on the road leading to Paradise Acres. Someone from St. James informed me that about 2000 EST on Sunday October 17,  gunmen went to this newly built church in the Paradise area to see the leader. An argument developed and the pastor pulled his firearm and shots rang out. Persons have said that at least one person has been killed but this is unconfirmed.

During the operations many police officers and military officers were in the area, There were army tanks and other police vehicles  the citizens said. I am trying to confirm with the police whether one or more person were killed.

Report of Fire At Dump In Morant Bay, St. Thomas

I just got a report from a citizen stating that the dump in Morant Bay is on fire.

The following is a press release from the NSWMA regarding the fire:

FIRE AT CHURCH CORNER DISPOSAL SITE

Kingston, Jamaica; The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) assisted by the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB),  is working to extinguish a fire at the Church Corner Disposal facility in St. Thomas.

Executive Director of the NSWMA, Mr. Audley Gordon, says his team was alerted to a fire at the facility at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021. The JFB was subsequently notified, and two units were dispatched to the site.

“We activated the usual protocols when we were alerted, and the Fire Brigade joined us quickly on the scene. There are two water trucks on location supplying water to the team. Cover material (soil) is stockpiled at all our facilities, so we have enough material at the location to help us combat this blaze. Owners of tipper trucks have been called in to assist us with spreading this material. However, there was some reluctance as it is a no-movement day. We sought the assistance of the Head of the St. Thomas Police Division, Superintendent Allison Byfield, and trucks are on the way to assist us with covering the affected zone. Based on the size of the engulfed area, our teams are working assiduously to return the facility to normality by late afternoon.” Mr. Gordon said.

The incident will be reported to the National Environmental and Planning Agency (NEPA) and a timeline provided for smothering the smoke.

Prof. Errol Morrison
Dear Errol,

I just want to say thank you for adding your voice on behalf of Science.  Somewhat delayed but still in time. Your letter is bold, simple but conveys a solid advice.  Science should never be used when it's convenient and discarded when it’s not, nor invoked only when we need to give policy some credibility.  Our  Scientists should consider first their obligation to their gift and profession over the urge or  need to beneficiate from its commerce at the expense of human lives and livelihoods.  This decision is a delicate one that requires a calculus that balances unadulterated science and unadulterated policies, not one or the other, or one over the other. I hope those with the handle are looking and listening and will develop the courage to do the right thing in the interest and benefit of all of us.

Vernon Derby's Speech At The Bureau Of Standards Jamaica, Long Service Awards

On Wednesday October 13, 2021, I was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, Long Service Awards. I was indeed honoured to have been invited and I used the opportunity to share a number of ideas with my audience. I invite you to click on the picture below and to listen to my speech. I have mentioned some points that I would love the nation and its leaders to listen to. Please support the work that I do by sharing this recording with your friends and relatives.

I give thanks to God for giving me the creativity and the patience to put this video together. I encourage all of you, even those who are stepping up in age to try your best to keep up with the technology. I am trying my best with it. 😅

Old Lady Literally Skin And Bones Needs Help NOW!!!

This old lady is just skin and bones!

Lorraine Clunie, business woman and a JP, continues to assists others. She has just reached out to me concerning a very old lady who is in a terrible state. This old lady is living off Maxfield Avenue in Kingston. Lorraine just went to look for the lady and one look at her picture told her that if this lady does not get some assistance now, her life could be snuffed out tonight.

Lorraine went to the Lords Place which is located on High Holborn Street in Kingston, to seek assistance from the priests there for this old lady. It must have been a harrowing experience for Lorraine to not only try to help this  old lady, but to enter that area at this time. I understand that there is  heavy gun fire in the High Holborn Street area.

The priests I understand are having a space problem at the Lords Place and the situation is further aggravated by the presence of Covid-19.

Lorraine is going to visit the old lady again tomorrow morning to assist with getting some diapers for her. If you have any diapers and food which you can donate, please send me a text message to (876) 816-5261. It is clear that these are difficult times but some are having it extremely rough. If you can assist please let me hear from you.

We are hoping that this lady will survive until Lorraine Clunie gets her to The Lords Place on High Holbourn Street.

When Good People Unite, Good Follows - This Is Good For Jamaica. Phylisa Prussia Found!!!

Phylisa Prussia

The news which depressed the whole of Jamaica for the last number of days was the disappearance of that little girl from St. Thomas by the name of Phylisa Prussia.

When I heard the story from MP Dr. Michelle Charles I became very depressed. I really should not take these things personally but it is hard not you. I asked the MP to keep me abreast of any development but I guess that now that the little girl has been found, MP Charles is too excited to even update me.

I had other interest in not only seeing that girl rescued but the officer in charge SP Allison Byfield is someone who I have known for a long time. I know she must have taken this one very hard and I know she must be smiling at this time also with the rest of the team and saying, "Thank You Lord!".

I knew that this little girl would be found. This is a small country and when we unite and say we will do it, and we will achieve it, then not even the powers of hell can stop us. May Jamaicans continue with that spirit and send the strongest message to all criminals and their supporters that we have had enough and they will have no resting place in Jamaica. We will now tolerate those dogs in our communities.

Let us condemn those who want to blame the rest of the society for the deeds of these devils, and those who get involved with these nasty dutty criminals, whether they are uptown, downtown, dark skin or they are light skin, let us condemn them in the strongest possible way. There friends and these relatives of the supporters and criminals must also be condemned. Let us condemn those who seek to use these hardened, cold and callous murderers to promote the use of the Covid-19. These persons must be put in a corner of the society and not be put on a pedestal as leaders. They are bad for the society and they are encouraging us to go down the road of no return. It these leaders had any shame they would resign immediately because you do not have the support of well thinking Jamaicans.

Today is a proud day for the police and citizens of this country. I pray that this partnership continues. There are bad politicians, bad police officers and there are bad citizens. Let the good politicians, the good police officers and the good citizens unite for the good of this country to get rid this country of these criminals and also silence their supporters. Let us do it for ourselves, our families and for Jamaica Land We Love.

That video with the child

That search by citizens and the police with their dogs.

They took a live Phylisa not a dead Phylisa to the hospital. Praise the Lord!

Note: Please share this post with as many persons as possible because it is time we promote good things and not the bad things in this country.

Government Funds CO2 Sensor Network to Support Jamaica’s Climate Ambition Under the Paris Agreement

As part of this project led by Dr. Adrian Spence, the Centre for Environmental and Nuclear Sciences will establish a real-time sensor network to map greenhouse gas emissions in urban centers across Jamaica.  The goal is to provide critical data to inform and strengthen local mitigation and adaption policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Under Jamaica’s enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), the island is striving to reach its 2030 goal of reducing emissions by 28.5 percent (with international support).

Urban centers are a dominant source of greenhouse gas emissions, causing cities to warm at twice the rate of the planet as a whole and posing a formidable threat to public health and critical infrastructure.  Global warming poses an existential threat to small island countries, already producing severe weather events that can affect the livelihoods and quality of life of the average Jamaican.  This U.S. government-funded project will provide real-time heat maps of GHG emissions and select meteorological data, followed by information sharing sessions with key decision-makers and public outreach.

U.S. Embassy Kingston’s Chargé d’ Affaires John McIntyre said: “Jamaica is a valued U.S. partner in advancing the regional and global climate agenda. Through this grant funding, the U.S. government is providing immediate, targeted assistance to address the need for data collection on emissions, to better inform policy and meet current targets.”

Professor Charles Grant, Director at the Centre for Environmental and Nuclear Sciences added: “Overall, our project objectives are perfectly aligned with Jamaica’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the country’s enhanced NDC under the Paris Agreement, which recognize that it is cumulative actions at the micro-level that will make the difference on a global scale.”
